Kool & The Gang’s “Summer Madness” is a timeless track. Smooth, seductive, sexy. A low key, mellow beat perfect for lazy summer nights. You know those nights circa 2005 and you’d be sipping those mojitos at some beach-side bar, but it isn’t 2005 and it isn’t summer and crap you are back in Chicago and its winter and its 2011 practically 2012 and yet, we deserve a smooth, sexy, seductive track nonetheless. That is where Debonair comes into play, reworking Kool & The Gang’s “Summer Madness” into “Winter Madness.” A bit more up tempo, yet still restrained, a perfect updated club track. Very Kolonaki-esque.
